Safe Harbor Easton
Needs We Meet

Safe Harbor Easton offers safe, clean, overnight accommodation for up to 26 homeless adults and a place to gather during the daytime for low-income functionally disabled residents of downtown Easton.

The Shelter Program

Men and women who have become homeless can make Safe Harbor Easton their home for a period of up to 60 days while they prepare for their future. Each resident works with a staff social worker to develop a plan to become self-sufficient or to find appropriate care. While in the shelter, residents share in household chores, participate in self-help programs, and address the problems that led them to seek shelter.

The Day Program

At 10:00 a.m. weekdays, Safe Harbor Easton opens its doors to drop-in guests who gather to socialize, participate in activities, or seek the assistance of our staff. Breakfast and lunch are provided, often through the gifts and assistance of volunteers, and a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, movies, and Bible study, are organized. Various forms of counseling and advocacy are provided either by staff members or by area social agencies. Health screening and representative payee services are available to program participants.
